After a tow to my mechanic's shop and a good wash, here's how it looked.

The body was straight and in great condition, ditto the interior. The chrome fender trim was removed for

this shot, but the awful 15” chrome rims were still there.

Over the next couple of years I did numerous modifications to the interior and exterior. The first things I did

on the exterior was to put an avante guard grill and euro headlights, updated taillights, as well as some 1995

polished E420 rims. For the interior I put in an optional S600 burlwood/leather steering wheel, matching gray

center console storage box, and updated drivers arm rest storage box. The stereo and speakers were updated

as well, with a JVC head unit, Infinity Kappa speakers, and an Infinity Basslink.

Here's some shots of the car at its first Mercedes Club show and shine.
